Torrione

Cottage Torrione is the oldest farmhouse in the Comune of Paciano – it was built more than three centuries ago, and it is common to see it on advertising photos of the landscape of this area. Its main characteristics are the “torrione” or “piccionaia” (pigeonhouse), a small, low tower on the roof, and numerous cypresses surrounding the entire farmhouse. It was completely restored in 1999, and divided into two inhabited independent units, Torrione Nord and Torrione Sud, plus a stand alone apartment or annex with other bed places and services. In total, the structure offers 14 bed places.
